WhatsApp-Based Ticketing Service Expands to Cover All Delhi Metro Corridors, Including Gurugram Rapid Metro
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the extension of its WhatsApp-based ticketing service to all corridors of the rapid transit system, including the Gurugram Rapid Metro. This service, initially launched on the Airport Express Line in May, is now available across the entire Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) network. In collaboration with Meta and their authorized partner Pelocal Fintech Pvt. Ltd., passengers can easily purchase metro tickets by sending a message with the text ‘Hi’ to +91 9650855800 on WhatsApp or by scanning the provided QR code with their smartphones. This expansion aims to offer commuters greater convenience and accessibility throughout the entire metro network.
This user-friendly WhatsApp chatbot is accessible in both English and Hindi, making it inclusive for a diverse range of metro riders. The service now encompasses the complete DMRC network, encompassing all stations, including the Gurugram Rapid Metro corridor. With the introduction of this WhatsApp-based ticketing system, metro travelers can effortlessly purchase tickets with a single click, whether they are at home or their workplace, providing unparalleled convenience.
