Vivo T2 5G Series Confirmed for India Launch; Design Teased on Flipkart Microsite
As the company prepares to expand its T-series of smartphones in India, the Vivo T2 5G series is set to launch soon. The phone has been confirmed to launch in India, and details have begun to emerge via a Flipkart microsite. Vivo has also provided users with a first look at the design of the upcoming Vivo T2 5G handset. The Snapdragon SoC is expected to power the Vivo T2 5G. Its display will have a waterdrop notch in the centre, and the phone will have a dual rear camera setup.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Vivo T2 5G series in India via a Flipkart microsite. The design of the upcoming Vivo T2 5G has also been teased by the company. The soon-to-be-released smartphone is expected to include an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 5G support. According to Vivo, the chipset’s name will be revealed on April 9. The microsite also confirmed the presence of a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash housed in two circular modules on the phone’s back panel. On April 7, the camera specifications will be revealed.
The handset is also expected to have a display with a waterdrop notch in the centre. The power and volume buttons will be located on the phone’s right spine. The display specifications for the Vivo T2 5G series will be revealed on April 5.
The model number Vivo V2222 was recently spotted on the Google Play Console database, indicating a waterdrop notch display with a full-HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It is rumoured that it will run on Android 13. The phone will reportedly come in two storage configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.
The phone is expected to succeed the Vivo T1 5G, which was released last year. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz.
