Having observed various caste-based art forms and geographical indication art forms, Kalki Subramaniam remarked that there is great potential for the artistic expressions of the transgender community within them. She emphasized that such exhibitions serve as significant encouragement for their empowerment. We believe that such collaborations and events will help us move closer to our mainstream goals.
“Rural Beads” is prepared to promote the upliftment of marginalized communities by continuing to encourage diverse ideas like these. This was informed by the founders of Rural Beads, Dr. Sreejith Premchandran and Aparna Pothuval.
