Territorial Army welcomes first batch of mandarin-trained officers along the Line of Actual Control (LAC)”
The Territorial Army (TA) has recently welcomed its inaugural group of officers who have undergone training in Mandarin. These officers have been chosen for their Mandarin language skills and officer-like qualities. They have now been stationed in forward areas along the Line of Actual Control to provide support during border personnel meetings with the People’s Liberation Army. Additionally, the TA has future plans to include cybersecurity experts in its ranks.
