London student defends Indian flag
An Indian student, Satyam Surana, who is pursuing his studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), intervened to prevent the desecration of the Indian flag by Khalistani protesters. During their protest on October 2 at the Indian High Commission, Khalistani extremists were seen disrespecting the Indian flag. Gurcharan Singh, the leader of Dal Khalsa UK, attempted to set fire to the Tricolour and even poured cow urine on it. It was at this critical moment that Satyam Surana stepped in behind Singh, retrieved the Tricolour, respectfully folded it, placed it against his forehead, and walked away with it.
