For the upcoming Deadpool 3 film, which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ryan Reynolds has confirmed the return of another Deadpool franchise actor as well as an unexpected X-Force character. One of the most eagerly awaited Marvel Studios films is Deadpool 3. With this film, a character from the Fox Marvel Universe joins the MCU for the first time to take the helm of their own venture. Reynolds reprises his role as the movie’s title character in Deadpool 3, and he is joined by Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, who also appears in the sequel.

In Deadpool 2, Delaney’s Peter provided comic relief as an ordinary person who joined Deadpool’s X-Force team but lacked any special abilities. Peter was put to death during the absurd death sequence in X-Force, only to be revived by Deadpool using Cable’s time-traveling technology. The character might not have a significant role compared to some of the other returning characters, but they will probably contribute to the movie’s typical gags.

What Deadpool 3’s Fox Marvel Franchise Returns Mean

Ryan Reynolds Makes Important Promise for Wolverine In Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 is building an all-star cast, mixing franchise newbies with beloved Fox actors from the first two Deadpool films. Veteran franchise actors Karan Soni as cab driver Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as the anti-hero’s fiancée Vanessa, Stefan Kapii as X-Men member Colossus, and Fox X-Men icon Hugh Jackman returning as a different Wolverine from the one who perished in 2017’s Logan are among the returning stars.

With Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and Emma Corrin (The Crown) cast in unnamed roles in Deadpool 3, the franchise gains some promising newcomers. The Logan subplot involving Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman may also be addressed in Deadpool 3, as the Charles Xavier actor hinted at a potential part in the MCU movie by telling ComicBook.com, “I’ve been told to standby.” Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3 may potentially encounter the Time Variance Authority and Mobius from the Loki Disney+ series, according to rumours.

Deadpool 3 could confirm predictions that Wade Wilson will interact with the TVA by bringing the Fox franchise back. Delaney’s return as Peter could be an indication of that, given the character was brought back from the dead, along with Vanessa, as a result of Deadpool playing with timelines, which the TVA harshly penalises. By the end of Deadpool 3, Reynolds should be in the MCU, possibly alongside a number of Fox characters from the mutant’s previous films. The character returns suggest that Deadpool 3 spends at least some time in the Fox universe before the character’s rumoured multiversal travel.
