Rajinikanth fan constructs temple tribute.

Dedicated fans often find unique ways to express their love and admiration for celebrities. In Madurai, Tamil Nadu, an ardent Rajinikanth fan named Karthik has gained attention for constructing a temple dedicated to the superstar within his own home.

Inside this temple, a remarkable 250 kg idol of Rajinikanth, affectionately known as Thalaivar, stands as a symbol of the profound respect and admiration that Karthik and his family hold for the iconic actor. Karthik described Rajinikanth as akin to a deity and emphasized that this temple is a significant gesture of respect toward the superstar. His daughter, Anushiya, shared that they worship the idol of Rajinikanth with the same reverence as one would in a traditional temple setting.

Reports suggest that Karthik’s devotion is exclusively directed towards watching Rajinikanth’s films, and he follows no other actor. Rajinikanth’s latest film, “Jailer,” directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has become one of the most significant Indian releases of the year, earning over Rs 600 crores at the box office since its September release. The film features a stellar cast and boasts music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Recent updates indicate that the legendary actor has signed two new projects. He is currently filming for his next movie, tentatively titled “Thalaivar 170,” directed by TJ Gnanavel and featuring an ensemble cast that includes Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.

In “Thalaivar 171,” Rajinikanth collaborates with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and production is set to begin in 2024, further fueling the anticipation among Rajinikanth’s devoted fan base.
