Qatar and UAE in richest countries list

The rankings of wealthy countries in the world are occupied by both Qatar and the UAE. Qatar stands at the fifth position in the list of global finances.

Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and fluctuations in oil prices, Qatar’s economic resilience remains evident, reflecting its robust financial system.

Apart from the Gulf countries, Qatar and the UAE have secured top positions globally. Qatar’s total Gross Domestic Product (GDP) surpassed $143,000 per capita even before 2014.

In the coming years, Qatar’s GDP is projected to increase by $10,000 annually, reflecting sustained growth in its economic infrastructure. By 2023, Qatar’s total GDP had reached $220 billion.

Despite facing significant challenges due to the spread of COVID-19 and global trade restrictions, Qatar has continued to resist economic downturns, as highlighted in recent reports.

Even amidst global trade restrictions and fluctuations in oil prices, Qatar’s economy is expected to grow by approximately 2% annually between 2024 and 2025, according to estimates.
