Priyanka Chopra said in a recent interview with Jennifer Hudson that her mother-in-law had told her she remembered seeing her win the Miss World title. “Apparently, my mother-in-law was like, ‘I remember watching you when you won!'” she remarked. In the year 2000, I was in London. The location was Texas. ‘There’s no way,’ I exclaimed. Nick was 7 years old when Priyanka Chopra, then 18, won the Miss World crown. Further, Nick’s mother said that while the family was watching the pageant, he had just come from a Broadway performance and witnessed her victory. She described it as “weird” and asserted that she thought couples were meant to be together for “whatever that period in your life is supposed to be.”
Priyanka Chopra continued, “I think that people collide because you’re intended to create family memories on this brief life that you have, and I think that Nick and I had these strange charmed tiny moments throughout our lives. But now that you’ve found your person, it’s wonderful.
