PM Modi says India-Bangladesh relations reaching new heights.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina jointly inaugurated three Indian-assisted development projects through video conferencing. During the inauguration, PM Modi expressed delight at the success of India-Bangladesh cooperation and the continuous elevation of their bilateral relations, stating, “Our relations are reaching new heights continuously. The work we have done together in the last 9 years was not done even in the decades before this.” The three projects include the Akhaura-Agartala Cross-Border Rail Link, Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line, and Unit II of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant in Rampal, Bangladesh. These projects aim to enhance connectivity and energy security in the region and strengthen the friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
