Multiplatform +7 Day Ratings for the 2023 Oscars Show Nearly 20M Viewers
The telecast received an average audience of 19.9 million viewers overall after seven days of viewing on linear and digital platforms, and it received a 4.43 rating among adults 18 to 49.
The 95th Oscars telecast reached nearly 20 million viewers during the week of the ceremony across multiple platforms, according to ABC, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ longtime broadcasting partner for the annual Academy Awards. This is encouraging news for a show that had just experienced its two lowest-rated episodes ever.
According to Nielsen’s final same-day ratings, the telecast averaged 18.76 million viewers (up two million from the 94th Oscars, a 13 percent improvement) and a 4.03 rating among adults 18-49 (a seven percent increase), which is a three-year high for the night of ratings.
