OnePlus 12R leak, Jio plan

Ahead of the global launch on January 23, detailed specifications for the OnePlus 12R have surfaced, revealing key features. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with a significant price cut compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. Notable features include a substantial 5,500 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging, a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. In India, the OnePlus 12R is estimated to be priced around Rs 40,000. Meanwhile, Jio has introduced a Happy New Year 2024 recharge plan, costing Rs 2,999, providing over a year of validity. Subscribers enjoy 2.5 GB of 4G data per day, unlimited calls, unlimited 5G data access, and 100 free SMS per day as part of the celebration.

Additionally, Vi has unveiled an annual recharge plan priced at Rs 3,199, offering 365 days of validity and including an Amazon Prime Video subscription. The plan provides 2 GB of 4G data daily, unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited 4G data usage between 12:00 am and 6 am. Intel’s CEO, Pat Gelsinger, hints at the potential creation of a chip with over 1 trillion transistors by 2030, utilizing technologies like 3D packaging and 2D transistor materials. On a different note, Airtel has updated its fair usage policy, discontinuing unlimited 5G data for select data plans during the free trial period. Meanwhile, Paytm has reportedly laid off over 1,000 employees, implementing AI-powered automation to enhance efficiency and reduce employee costs by 10 to 15 percent.
