Officials serve disabled students as penalty

The Disability Affairs Department has imposed a distinctive penalty on officials accountable for a four-year delay in updating an employee’s disability category, instructing them to serve specially-abled students for five days.

This step aims to assess the impact of the sensitization programme and ensure accountability in addressing disability-related concerns within the organization, the official said.
