NASA’s SpaceX Crew-8 astronauts safely return to Earth after successful mission

NASA astronauts Matt Dominick, Mike Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin have safely returned to Earth after their mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft splashed down off the Florida coast at approximately 3:29 a.m. ET (07:29 GMT) on Friday.

The Crew-8 mission, which lasted several months, focused on advancing scientific research to support future human exploration beyond low Earth orbit. According to NASA, the work conducted during the mission is expected to yield benefits for human life on Earth, contributing to advancements in various scientific fields.

As the astronauts rejoin life on Earth, their successful return marks another milestone in ongoing efforts to enhance our understanding of space and improve life back home.
