Meghana Raj is a delighted and emotional mother as her son, Raayan, starts kindergarten in Bengaluru. She turned to Instagram to share some adorable photos of her son taken at school and at home. Meghana stated in her touching caption that she’simply can’t describe the emotions I went through in words.’ The photograph she shot with her son and the portrait of her late husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja, drew our attention.

Meghana Raj has been raising her son, Raayan Raj Sarja, as a single parent. Her husband and actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja, passed away in 2020 due to a massive cardiac arrest. He was 39 years old. She was five months pregnant when her husband died.
Meghana was overcome with emotion on May 29, the first day of school for her son, Raayan. She became upset and wrote, “Once we become parents, it’s not just the children who reach milestones, but us as parents as well!” And today is one of those special days! Raayan’s first day at kindergarten! I just cannot put into words the emotions I felt… his very first step towards education, knowledge, and, most importantly, life lessons. We appreciate all of your kind wishes and blessings for our little one. @chirusarja #rajsarja (sic).”

Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja married in 2018 after a 10-year relationship. The latter, on the other hand, died on June 7, 2020, after having a catastrophic heart arrest. The actress took a break from acting to focus on herself and her children.
Meghana is now preparing to make her comeback. Tatsama Tadbhava, produced by Pannaga Bharana, will be her next film. The releasing date of the film will be announced soon.
