Malayalam film industry stars Jayaram and Parvathy’s daughter, Malavika Jayaram, exchanged vows with her fiancé, Navaneeth Gireesh, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony held at the Guruvayur temple on Friday, May 3. The couple’s nuptials, attended by close family and friends, were celebrated amidst the temple’s sacred surroundings.
Embracing the customs and heritage of their culture, the radiant bride adorned a resplendent red silk saree draped in the Iyengar style, drawing inspiration from her parents for her special day. Complementing her elegance, the groom opted for traditional Kerala attire, donning a kasavu dhoti and shawl.
Expressing their elation, Jayaram and Parvathy conveyed their joy at witnessing their daughter’s marriage unfold at the same revered venue where they had exchanged vows three decades ago. Among the attendees were renowned personalities from the industry, including superstar Suresh Gopi and actor Aparna Balamurali, adding glitz and glamour to the festivities.
Navaneeth, hailing from a distinguished background as the son of former UN official Gireesh Menon and Valsala, chose to pursue a career as a chartered accountant in the UK. Meanwhile, Malavika, with a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Wales, has been actively pursuing her passion for modeling.
Following their engagement in December 2023, the couple embarked on this new chapter of their lives, commemorated by a reception scheduled in Thrissur. Notable figures, including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, are expected to grace the occasion, underscoring the significance of their union within the community.
In parallel joyous news, Malavika’s brother, actor Kalidas Jayaram, is also preparing for matrimonial bliss, having recently become engaged to model Tarini Kalingarayar.
