From November 1st to 7th, 2023, KERALYEEM will embark on a comprehensive mission to unveil the remarkable journey of Kerala’s development and accomplishments spanning the past seven decades. The ultimate goal of Keraleeyam is to shape a new Kerala characterized by excellence, fostering socio-economic prosperity across the state, promoting sustainable development in all sectors, and crafting forward-looking development policies.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Kerala’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, inaugurated the Keraleeyam festival, which is set to run for a week. This festival aims to illuminate the richness of the state’s ethnic traditions, showcase the intricate journey of its transformation into a modern state, and symbolize the promising future of its transition into a knowledge-based economy. This seven-day extravaganza promises an immersive experience that celebrates Kerala’s history and its political evolution while shedding light on the impact of modernity on the state. Various art forms, installations, and stage performances will vividly depict the interplay between modernity and tradition within Kerala society. The event witnessed the presence of a prominent gathering, including politicians, film stars, celebrities, and celebrities and leaders from various fields.
