Earlier this year, rumors circulated that model Kendall Jenner and musical artist Bad Bunny had started a romantic relationship. By October, however, they were being seen together less frequently. Now, just before the holidays, reports suggest they may have split for good. Jenner had split with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Devin Booker in 2022 and was reportedly enjoying the single life before meeting the Puerto Rican rapper.
Then, Bad Bunny, or Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, swept her off her feet. Here’s a timeline of their relationship and its potential end so far.
February 2023: The pair were first seen together on a date in Beverly Hills. Jenner and Ocasio were spotted leaving Wally’s, a popular eatery among the rich and famous. E! News reported that Hailey and Justin Bieber were also at the restaurant, suggesting they could have been on a double date, or it was just a popular brunch spot that day.
March 2023: The fresh couple was sighted in West Hollywood early in the month, sharing dinner with friends. They exchanged hugs and possibly a kiss before parting ways. Toward the month’s end, the rapper appeared to mention his new girlfriend in Eladio Carrión’s track “Coco Chanel.” In the lyrics, he sings, “I’m not bad, baby, that’s just a façade / But the Puerto Rican sun is hotter than in Phoenix / She’s aware.”
Booker, Jenner’s former partner, is a player for the Phoenix Suns. In another part of the song, Bad Bunny gives a shout-out to “Scorpio women,” coincidentally Jenner’s zodiac sign. A source told US Weekly during that time that Jenner wasn’t actively seeking a relationship.
“Kendall and Bad Bunny aren’t officially together, but they’re spending a lot of time with each other and getting to know one another better,” the insider revealed. Despite Jenner initially not being fully invested, her feelings were “beginning to develop” after “spending more time” with him.
April 2023: In April, TMZ revealed that the couple had gone horseback riding together, indicating a deepening of their relationship. On April 15, Jenner attended Bad Bunny’s performance at Coachella in Indio, California, and was spotted dancing in the crowd in a TikTok video. Later that weekend, she was photographed beside him as he whispered to her in the audience.
