Kareena Kapoor Khan has been appointed as Unicef India’s National Ambassador, marking another milestone in her association with the organization since 2014 as a Celebrity Advocate. Embracing the new role, Kareena expressed her excitement and emotions during her speech onstage as she accepted the baton.
Reflecting on this achievement, Kareena shared her feelings in a heartfelt note on Instagram, expressing her gratitude and excitement for the opportunity.
“An emotional day for me,” wrote Kareena, continuing with, “I am honored to be appointed as UNICEF India National Ambassador. Working with @unicefindia over the past 10 years has been truly enriching and insightful. I am proud of the work that we have done and am reiterating my commitment to being a voice for promoting and protecting child rights and an equal future for all children (sic).”
She further expressed her gratitude, extending a special thank you to the entire team dedicated to advocating for the rights of women and children nationwide. Kareena reiterated her daily inspiration from their efforts and expressed anticipation for the ongoing collaboration (sic).
