Janvi Kapoor denies marriage rumours
Janhvi Kapoor has once again denied rumors of marrying her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, anytime soon. The actress emphasized that her current focus is on her career.
In an interview with a leading portal, Janhvi explained, “I recently read something ridiculous saying I had confirmed a relationship and that I am getting married soon. People mixed up several articles, making it seem like I am getting married within a week, which is not true (laughs). Right now, I want to concentrate on my work.”
A few weeks ago, Janhvi dismissed similar rumors posted by a paparazzo. Although she hasn’t officially confirmed her relationship with Shikhar, she is frequently seen wearing a necklace with his name on it. In her last appearance on Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan,’ she revealed that she has Shikhar’s number on speed dial.
While promoting her upcoming film, ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,’ Janhvi was asked about the support systems in her life. She openly mentioned Shikhar, telling Mirchi Plus, “He has been in my life since I was 15 or 16. Our dreams have always aligned, and we’ve been very close, almost like we’ve raised each other.”
Janhvi Kapoor will next appear in ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ alongside Rajkummar Rao. The film is set to release on May 31.
