The Indian opener secured his second Test double century, simultaneously matching the record for the most sixes in a Test innings with a remarkable 12 hits over the boundary, a feat previously held by Wasim Akram since 1996.
Jaiswal’s aggressive batting spree not only propelled him to an individual milestone but also marked him as the first player in the 147-year history of Test cricket to smash 20 or more sixes in a single Test series.
