Iron Man meets Venom in DC’s Upcoming Superhero Film, Blue Beetle
The Blue Beetle movie trailer, which introduces Xolo Mariduea as Jaime Reyes and divulges the superhero’s backstory and skills, has been revealed.
Finally, the first Blue Beetle movie trailer has been made public. A new DC Universe is coming, even though the DCEU is coming to an end. Blue Beetle, on the other hand, is a movie that might or might not be relevant to James Gunn’s new DC Universe. As a popular Latino superhero from DC, Xolo Mariduea is bringing the title character to life on the big screen. The story of Blue Beetle centres on Jaime Reyes, who one day finds a potent alien scarab that makes him the protagonist.
The main enigma surrounding the scarab is introduced in the Blue Beetle trailer. The video shows how Jaime obtains the scarab while also introducing his family. Jaime dons a suit for the first time in the Blue Beetle trailer and investigates the capabilities of the scarab. The family even gets to participate in the action by flying a spacecraft in the form of a bug.
Jenny, played by Bruna Marquezine, is an important character in the Blue Beetle story because she is Jaime’s love interest. The Blue Beetle trailer reveals that she is the one attempting to save the scarab. Kord Industries has a role to play in the DC adventure. While no mention of Ted Kord is made in the trailer, Susan Sarandon is introduced as the villain, Victoria Kord.
Angel Manuel Soto directed the DC film, which was based on Gareth Dunnet-screenplay. Alcocer’s Blue Beetle was developed for HBO Max before being re-released in theatres. It will be the first DC film to hit theatres following The Flash.
