For the Bollywood and Hollywood movie industry, there is a huge loss of great actor Mr Irrfan Khan most talented young man that cannot be filled. 2020 leaves the best actor who has ever been able to make his mark on every piece of art he has ever had.
Irrfan Khan (7 January 1967 – 29 April 2020) was a great Indian Film actor, known for his work predominately in addition to British and American Films. In his career over 30 years featuring in more than 50 Domestic Films, He had received numerous awards including a Normal Film Award and Film Fare Awards in four different categories. People considered him to be a one of the finest actor in Indian Cinema World. In 2011 he was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honor from former Indian president Pratiba Patil.
Irrfan Khan started a small role in “Salaam Bombay “1988 was followed by years of struggle. Then after his starring in the British Film “The Warrior “2001, he had his breakthrough in 2003 with starring roles in dramas “Haasil” 2003 and “Malabo” 2004. His top most movies that was he went on gain critical acclaim for his roles in “The Namaste “ 2006, “ Life in a Metro “ 2007, and “ Paan Singh Tomar “2011, “The Lunchbox “2013, “ Piku “2015,” Talvar “2015. It seems like a new steps he had supporting roles in the Hollywood Films “The Amazing Spider Man” 2012, “Life of Pi “2012, “ Jurassic World “2015 and “ Inferno “ 2016. His highest grossing Hindi Film release came with the comedy drama “Hindi Medium “2017 which he won the Film Fare Award for the Best Actor. Painfully his final appearance was “ Angrezi Medium“2020.
According to his Personal Life, Irrfan Khan was born in Rajasthan to a Muslim family. Khan’s mother, Begum Khan and his father, the late Jagirdar Khan, were from the Khajuriya village near the Tonk District and they ran a tire business. Irrfan Khan completed his, master degree at National school of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi in 1984. Irrfan Khan best friend was Satish Sharma were good at cricket and later Irrfan Khan was selected for the CK Nayudu Tournament under 23 years as a stepping stone to First Class cricket in India. On 23 February 1995, Khan got married Mrs.Sutapa Sikdar who was the writer and fellow NSD graduate. They had two sons, Babil and Ayaan. In 2012 he changed his spelling of his name “ Irfan Khan “ to “ Irrfan Khan ” and he said about this attempt that he likes the extra sound of “ r” in his name.
In September 2015, he was appointed as the Brand Ambassador for “Resurgent Rajasthan” a campaign by the State Government of Rajasthan.
In February 2018, Khan was diagnosed with “undisclosed disease “and it was guess by many media outlets that he has “brain cancer “. After much he took his twitter account and announced that he was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour. He travelled to London for treatment. He was admitted to Mumbai Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on 28 April 2020, where he started receiving treatment for a colon infection. He died 29 April 2020 at the age of 53, from the colon infection just four days after his mother deaths in Jaipur.
