Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that India is poised for a quantum leap, emphasizing the need to prepare the young generation to lead the country and prioritize national interests. Launching the “Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth” initiative, aimed at providing a platform for young minds to contribute ideas, Modi highlighted India’s youth as both the “agent of change” and the “beneficiary of change.”
As part of the initiative, Modi will engage with vice-chancellors, heads of institutes, and faculty members in workshops across the country. Stressing the pivotal moment in India’s history, Modi urged the preparation of the youth to take on leadership roles and prioritize the nation’s interests. He underscored the global significance of India’s youth, calling upon educational leaders to serve as role models for students.
“Viksit Bharat@2047” envisions India as a developed country by its 100th year of independence in 2047, encompassing economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. Modi’s emphasis on youth empowerment and visionary leadership reflects a commitment to shaping India’s future trajectory.
