High commissioner of India meets with Bangladeshi advisor for strategic discussions

On Thursday, Pranay Verma, the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, held a significant meeting with Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, the Railways, Power, Energy & Mineral Resources, and Roads, Transport & Bridges Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh. The discussions centered on current projects and the future of sub-regional power connectivity.

The meeting, held in Dhaka, highlighted ongoing collaborative initiatives and emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and security of Indian project personnel working in Bangladesh. The Indian High Commission shared details of the meeting via social media platform ‘X’, noting that both parties exchanged views on enhancing regional infrastructure and energy cooperation.
