After the mid-summer break, the children arrived at school filled with laughter and playful energy. The State School Entrance Festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Malayan Keez School in Thiruvananthapuram. Public Education Minister V. Sivankutty presided over the event, accompanied by Transport Minister Antony Raju and other dignitaries. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister presented prizes to the children who successfully completed the first letter challenge. Additionally, the newly constructed school building was officially dedicated to the nation. Transport Minister Antony Raju also unveiled the academic year 2023-24 calendar.
In his inaugural speech, the Chief Minister expressed his delight at the enthusiastic arrival of the children at the school. He highlighted the transformative changes taking place in the education sector of Kerala, emphasizing the emergence of a new perspective. The Chief Minister noted that significant investments, totaling billions of rupees, have been made to bring about these improvements in the public education sector.
