Char Dham Yatra Update: In less than a month, almost 6 lakh pilgrims have registered for the journey.
According to statistics, more than 6 lakh people have signed up for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra. This amount is in accordance with information provided by the Uttarakhand Tourist Development Board (UTDB).
As previously reported, this year’s Char Dhan Yatra requires pilgrims to register. The yatra, which is scheduled to begin in April of this year, is already under way. The UTDB is providing the registration facility to the followers via smartphone app, web site, WhatsApp, and toll-free number to streamline the complete procedure.
According to reports, the registration procedure is carried out to suit the requirements of the followers. This aims to make monitoring pilgrims easier, resolve travel-related complaints for pilgrims, and provide additional conveniences. Also, in order to prevent crowding, the administration will this year issue tokens to registered worshippers for darshan. They won’t have to wait in line because of the tokens; they can wait until the tokens’ assigned number appears on the display.
Satpal Maharaj, the tourism minister for Uttarakhand, revealed more about this, saying that they anticipate this year’s yatra would break last year’s attendance and registration records. He continued by saying that this time, in consideration of the comforts of each registered devotee, special arrangements had been made for them. With the tokens provided, the devotees will be able to easily explore each dham, he continued.
Please be aware that only those who registered will receive tokens. Everyone who plans to attend Char Dham has been strongly recommended by Mr. Maharaj to register in order to take use of all the amenities available during the yatra.
If reports are to be believed, 6,13,624 people have registered for the Char Dham Yatra, which began on February 21.
