Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Nike drama “Air” is heading to Austin, Texas.

“Air,” the new movie from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, will be premiering at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. It’s always interesting to see what new projects these talented actors and filmmakers are working on, and I’m sure many people will be looking forward to seeing this movie when it premieres. I hope it’s a great success at the festival!

“Air” is a biographical sports drama film that focuses on the relationship between Nike shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro and basketball legend Michael Jordan. The film seems to explore how Vaccaro takes a big risk by backing Jordan, a relatively unknown player at the time, and how Jordan’s talent and hard work ultimately lead him to become one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Additionally, the film appears to highlight the important role that Jordan’s mother played in his life and career. “Air” is set to be released in theaters on April 5.

Amazon declined to comment about the film’s SXSW premiere.

In “Air,” the character of Michael Jordan, the film’s central figure, does not appear. Instead, the film focuses on the relationship between Nike executives Sonny Vaccaro (played by Ben Affleck) and Phil Knight (played by Matt Damon), as well as Michael Jordan’s mother, Deloris (played by Viola Davis). The film also features a star-studded supporting cast, including Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker, and Julius Tennon.

“Air” marks Ben Affleck’s return behind the camera as a director, following a five-year hiatus since his last directorial effort, “Live by Night” in 2016. Affleck previously won an Oscar for his direction of “Argo” in 2012, which also won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
