2025 Toyota crown signia SUV unveiled
Toyota has introduced the latest addition to its Crown lineup, the 2025 Crown Signia SUV. This hybrid-electric car shares its platform with the Crown sedan and Crown Sport SUV. While available in Japan as the Crown Estate, it is now hitting the North American market, expanding from the Crown sedan. Notably, it is not expected to launch in the Indian automotive market.
The design of the 2025 Crown Signia SUV features a sporty look with a slightly inclined roofline, five-door crossover-like design, and distinctive hammerhead nose styling. The front showcases stylish headlamps, wraparound taillamps, and a unique grille design. Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch customizable digital display, another 12.3-inch entertainment screen, and 8-way electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats. The cabin offers amenities such as wireless charging, multiple charging plugs, drink holders, air vents, and seat temperature control.
Under the hood, the Crown Signia houses a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine, generating 243 bhp of power. It comes in two styles: Limited with 21-inch wheels and leather-covered seats, and XLE with 19-inch wheels and fabric/SofTex seats. The car offers three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, with features like enhanced battery range in Eco mode and heightened throttle response in Sport mode. The EV Mode enables electric-only operation at low speeds. Safety features include Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and standard airbags.
